Yuan Yan Tang (Life Fellow, IEEE) received the BSc degree in electrical and computer engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, the MEng degree in electrical engineering from the Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, and the PhD degree in computer science from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada. He is currently an Emeritus chair professor with the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau, and a professor/adjunct professor/honorary professor with several institutes, including Chongqing University, China, Concordia University, and Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. His current interests include wavelets, pattern recognition, and image processing. He is the founder and the chair of Pattern Recognition Committee, IEEE SMC. He has serviced as the general chair, program chair, and committee member of many international conferences. He is the founder and the general chair of the International Conferences on Wavelets Analysis and Pattern Recognition (ICWAPRs) series. He is the founder and the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing (IJWMIP). He is a fellow of IAPR.

Tan, Ying is a professor in the Department of Machine Intelligence, School of EECS, Peking University and has served as a PhD advisor and the Director of Computational Intelligence Laboratory. He is the inventor of Fireworks Algorithm (FWA). He obtained his B.Eng. from Electronic Engineering Institute in 1985, and M.Eng. from Xidian University in 1988, and Ph.D. from Southeast University in 1997, respectively. His research interests include computational intelligence, swarm intelligence, machine learning and data mining, and information security application. Dr. Tan has published 6 monographs by Morgan Kaufmann (Elsevier), Springer, Wiley & IEEE, CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, IGI Global and Science Press, respectively, and published more than 260 research papers, and most of them are published in top-tier journals and conferences, such as IEEE TEC, TNN, TKDE, TCyb, TIFS, TITS, and CVPR and AAAI. In addition, he authored/co-authored more than 10 books and 12 chapters in book. He has served as a Leading Editor to coordinate and edit more than twenty volumes of Springer LNCS books. He got four invented patents of China. He was awarded a National 2nd-Class Natural Science Prize of China in 2009. He is/was the founder and general chairs of ICSI conferences since 2010. He is a general chair of DMBD2016-2017, ICMEB2017 and ICMEB2017. He was the program chair of IEEE WCCI’2014, ISNN2008 and ICACI2012, and publicity chair of IEEE SSCI’2016, etc.

I am interested in the structuring of knowledge, ontologies and metalanguages ​​based on XML, design and production of Learning Objects. In particular, as far as Learning Objects are concerned, it is concerned with the structuring of the interactive scheme, focusing attention on learning processes. In this context, the attention has been placed and will be refined with a view to usability, accessibility and quality. In the last few years I have addressed the use of mobile technologies and augmented reality in the field of training and information. In this last period my research focuses on Educational Robotics and on the relationship between technologies and knowledge construction. My research is carried out in the EURESIS Training Epistemology Laboratory (director Prof.ssa Gramigna).

Ching-Chih Tsai received the Diplomat in Electrical Engineering from National Taipei Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, the MS in Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, ROC and the PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA, in 1981, 1986 and 1991, respectively. Currently, he is a university distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung-Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, ROC. He has published over 60 journal papers and more than 200 conference papers and six patents. Since 2007, he has been the President, Taichung Chapter, Chinese Institute of Engineers, Taiwan. His current interests include advanced control methods, robotics, mechatronics, intelligent systems and methods, imaging processing and their applications to display systems and industrial processes.

Pascal Lorenz received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017). He is senior member of the IEEE, IARIA fellow and member of many international program committees. He has organized many conferences, chaired several technical sessions and gave tutorials at major international conferences. He was IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer Tour during 2013-2014.

Dr Ata Jahangir Moshayedi is an associate professor at JXUST. He has done his PhD from Electronic Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India( 2015). He has been a member of various Societies like IEEE, Instrument Society of India as a Life Member, Lifetime Member of Speed Society of India, and editorial team of various conference and journals. His research interest includes Robotics and Automation, Sensor modelling ,Bio-inspired robots, Mobile Robot Olfaction, Plume Tracking, Embedded System, Machine vision-based Systems, Virtual reality and Artificial Intelligence.

Christakis Damianou received a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in Electrical engineering in 1988, 1990 and 1993 respectively. He was employed at the universities of Arizona, Indiana, Harvard and Frederick. Since he returned to Cyprus (1995) his goal was to create a competitive laboratory in MRI guided focused ultrasound surgery.

Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published ~300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >12,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >60 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >70 prestigious journals.

Abdul Samad Shibghatullah currently works at College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). Abdul does research in Artificial Intelligence, Optimization and Simulation.
